Nestled in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of central New Mexico, Fiesta offers a variety of hand-dyed yarns in radiant colors reflecting the unique landscape of the Southwest and beyond. Each skein is individually dyed using a combination of several colors merging to form secondary colors.
Fiesta began its rich history over 25 years ago, when the dying and packaging was done from the owner’s home located in the quaint Village of Corrales. For more than fifteen years, yarn could be seen hanging from the trees and clotheslines around the private residents. In 1998, Fiesta was sold and moved to Rio Rancho, where production became standardized and modernized. And in early 2001, Fiesta was again sold and then relocated back to its roots in the tranquil setting of Corrales. For two years, Fiesta was located in a 1860s adobe home which had been converted for manufacturing and retail. Tourists and locals could again see the yarn drying under the trees and the New Mexico blue sky.
In December 2003, due to enormous growth, Fiesta moved into 5,500 sq.ft. of office, warehouse, and production facilities. Yarn-dying production was doubled to expedite order delivery. In September, 2004, Fiesta expanded again to a total of 8,000 sq. ft. and tripled the dying capacity from just one year earlier. And today, Fiesta is housed in over 13,000 sq. ft. and stocks inventory on every yarn in every color we manufacture. In January 2006, Fiesta launched a new division called Hand-Dyed Hobbies to introduce hand-dyed fibers to the scrapbook and hobby industry.
Fiesta is family owned and operated by Jeannie and Brad Duncan. The team at Fiesta takes pride in personalized service, and producing a quality product that you can be proud to wear for years to come.
